Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty, born on the 1st of October, 1995 was raised in Berkeley, California. She is an actress from America that has appeared on screen in Choices (2010) and The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004).

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that includes directors and actors, pursued these professions as well. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon, the film that she played Nanni Moretti's little daughter was released just a few years later. However, it was Close Friends by Michele Placido which saw Asia's acting career explode. Asia played a role in Dario's Phantom of the Opera, the third film she directed alongside her dad. Two of them included Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. In 1993, she was a co-star in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, in which she performed the role of Arianna an athlete. It was a complex role and demanding, earning recognition from David di Donatello as best actress. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her the David di Donatello prize as well as an award called a Grolla d'oro. In 1994 Asia began the art of directing, and produced two short films as part of the series of the movie De Generazione In 1996 she made a documentary of her father. In 1998, a film about legendary director Abel Ferrara, AbelAsia which received an award from AbelAsia, which was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia's first feature-length film directed by her was Scarlet Diva, in which she played the lead actress, and also wrote the screenplay. The film came out in May 20, 2000, both in Italy and the rest of world. The film was awarded an award in Brooklyn's Williamsburg film festival.
